Organisation
The previous organization of the individual institutes is being developed further into a department model:
- All institute directors and research unit heads meet once a month as Steering Committee in order to coordinate research strategies, resources and personnel development.
- The position of the Speaker of the Department of Radiation Science, who represents the DRS internally and externally, rotates among the institute directors every two years.
- The Advisory Board of the DRS consists of international experts and representatives of the Federal Office for Radiation Protection as well as TUM and LMU.
