Research Unit 'Genetic Epidemiology'

Objectives:
The objective of the research unit 'Genetic Epidemiology' is to contribute to the investigation of the genetic causes of complex diseases by a comprehensive methodological program:
- Study management and recruitment: design and conduct of new epidemiological studies with genetic objective, data management, and quality control.
- KORA-gen: infrastructure to provide phenotypes, genotypes, and biosamples for collaborative genetic epidemiological research.
- Genetical Statistics: statistical concept, statistical analysis, and consulting; epidemiological interpretation; investigations on genetic epidemiological methodology.
