Fast Algorithms for Biomedical Imaging
We focus on the development and implementation of efficient algorithms for modern biomedical imaging like computerised tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and photoacoustic imaging as well as nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and protein-protein docking problems. Main research areas are generalized fast Fourier transforms, numerical harmonic analysis, and sparse approximation.
