Scientific Management
The scientific management team supports Professor Wolfgang Wurst, the director of the IDG, in the coordination of large European and national scientific consortia and other research projects. Its duties comprise, among others, support in application writing, reporting to the funder and the HMGU, organization of scientific and strategic meetings, press activities and project web portal maintenance.
Scientific Management Team:
Dr. Cornelia Kaloff, head of the team, project manager of EUCOMM and EUCOMMTOOLS and first point of contact for all matters concerning EU-funded projects
Dr. Laura Würzberg, project manager of HelMA, and first point of contact for all matters concerning DFG-funded and munich area funded projects, including all administrative matters of graduate schools.
Michael Miller, project manager of the DiGtoP consortium and first point of contact for all matters concerning NGFN-funded projects.
Karin Simmerl is in charge of the institute’s finances. She also cares for a wide range of other administrative issues and manages finances and administration for the IDG’s large projects such as the EUCOMM-Tools, DiGtoP and HelMA.
The administrative office operates on an open-door policy, meaning that everyone may come in at any time and will be helped and supported in the best possible way.
