clinical cooperation group immune monitoring
- Development of monitoring strategies for clinical studies
Our central aim is the development, establishment and standardization of different state-of-the-art methods for analysis of immune responses of patients in clinical studies of malignant tumors or infectious diseases. - Transfer of knowledge to the clinic
In cooperation with members of the Immune Monitoring team clinical colleagues are able to use current state-of-the-art methodologies and instrumentation. - Regulation of the human immune response
Through continued development of monitoring methods it is possible to improve knowledge of molecular and cellular regulation of the human immune system. In this context immune monitoring is an instrument for gaining new information about the immune system in individuals. - New therapeutic approaches
The platform will be a cornerstone in the development of new immunotherapy approaches. Currently the CCG Immune Monitoring is involved in the development of T-cell transfer-based immunotherapies and novel AIDS and tumor vaccines.
