  • October 2011: On the recent ICRP annual meeting in Bethesda, USA, Werner Ruehm, Head of the Individual Dosimetry Working Group, was appointed secretary of ICRP Committee 1 on “Radiation Effects”.
  • June 2011: On June 20th and 21st, the Working Group on Individual Dosimetry hosted the EURADOS Council for their 47th Council Meeting.
  • May 2011: Our measurements of cosmic radiation at the Environmental Research Station“Schneefernerhaus” were an issue in the Bavarian television program  (see also www.br-online.de in the "Mediathek”) on 15.05.2011 21:15 (“Faszination Wissen : Angst über den Wolken – wie gefährlich ist Fliegen wirklich?” – in German).
  • December 2010: Werner Ruehm, Head of the Individual Dosimetry Working Group, was appointed by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) as a member of Task Group TG 83 on “Protection of Aircraft Crew to Cosmic Radiation Exposure”.
  • October 2010: Meeting of EURADOS Working Group 11 on „High Energy Radiation Fields“ organised by the ISS Individual Dosimetry Working Group in Neuherberg, Germany (WG11)
  • October 2010: Prof. Dr. E. Flueckiger, president of the “International Foundation High Altitude Research Stations Jungfraujoch and Gornergrat (HFSJG)”, Switzerland, visits our research laboratory on the Environmental Research Station “Schneefernerhaus”
  • August 2010: Federal Minister for Education and Research, Mrs. Prof. Dr. A. Schavan, visits our measurement laboratory on the environmental research station "Schneefernerhaus" on the Zugspitze mountain (see details in German language).
  • Arpil 2010: New EPCARD.NET version 5.4.3 certified by PTB and LBA!
  • March 2010: The use of our radon exposure meter to measure indoor radon concentrations and personal exposures is shown on German TV (see ARTE TV-programme) on 05.03.2010 17:40
  • August 2009: The President of the Helmholtz Association, Prof. Dr. Mlynek, visits our measurement laboratory on the environmental research station "Schneefernerhaus" on the Zugspitze mountain (see details in German language).
