Our interdisciplinary research group focuses
- radiation biophysics for health effects due to ionizing radiation
- on the development of a free programmable lab-on-a-chip system for single cell analysis
- radiation sensitive biosensors based on semiconductors and organic conductive polymers
- sensors for time resolved online dosimetry
Our interdisciplinary approach combines nanobiotechnology and semiconductor techniques in order to identify and quantify important biological responses to ionizing radiation at different hierarchical levels from organisms to molecules.
