The Helmholtz Zentrum-Day Care Center offers the employees of the Helmholtz Zentrum München the possibility to leave their children from 8 weeks of age on until the beginning of the elementary school in a place where they receive care and education and where they can develop and learn.
The long opening hours, the flexibility in the daily schedule and the proximity to the workplace in Neuherberg are important aspects of the GSF-Day Care Center which allow for a better balance between work and family.
Starting in the year 2000 the parents-child-initiative named ‘ganz schön frech’ (already pretty bold) is self dependent and employs for the care-giver personnel.
