Where the Funding of the KORA Research Comes from
KORA research is predominantly financed by public funds allocated to the Helmholtz Zentrum München by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and by public research funds of the Helmholtz Zentrum München. Half of the KORA Myocardial Infarction Registry funding comes from the Federal Ministry of Health.
Moreover, we receive financial means from other state agencies (DFG), foundations, corporate bodies, and industry that are exclusively used to the benefit of the KORA health research.
