Scientist / Post-doc for Ultrasound System Development and Imaging (m/f) 2012/1740
Job Description
- Development of novel state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging hardware.
- Theoretical and numerical computation developments to support tomography and quantitative data analysis
- Hands-on experimental work involving imaging of small animals
Your Qualifications
- Strong background (preferably a PhD) in Physics, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or related fields
- Knowledge and practical experience with ultrasound hardware, control hardware and imaging methods
- Understanding sound and/or light propagation in tissues and ability to utilize mathematical models for image formation
- Excellent analytical and strong programming skills and experience with Matlab, Labview, FEM, etc
- Good command of English
