Interests
The group of Molecular Epidemiology has three major working areas:
- Molecular analysis of complex diseases in large epidemiologic cohorts (Diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular and atopic diseases, lung cancer)
- Biobanking (Storage of biological materials like plasma, serum, genomic DNA and cells; preparation of genomic DNA, EBV immortalisation)
- Molecular method: Genotyping (Illumina, Affymetrix, Sequenom, TaqMan)
