Essentials, expectations, and strategies for a successful PhD project
16. - 21. August, Gilleleje, Denmark
The workshop was organised by our Danish partners (DTU/GEUS) and all GOODWATER fellows met there the first time.
The overall aim of the course was to be aware of expectations for a PhD study, be able to use relevant tools, and be acquainted to essential elements in a successful PhD study.
After this course all fellows should be able to:
- Identify a scientific hypothesis
- Prepare an oral scientific presentation
- Give constructive feed back to peers
- Use common planning tools
- Develop a personal dissemination plan
- Develop a personal career plan and a CV
