 Nancy Lorenzi, professor at Vanderbilt university and former IMIA president, has been elected to become AMIA president starting at 1 January 2010. EFMI congratulates heartly and supports the statement delivered by Nancy:
As Chair of the AMIA Board I will synergistically work to connect people, process and technology in support of
informatics as an enabler of the needed changes and on behalf of AMIA members so that our roles are better understood
and more highly valued.
