EFMI Board and Council in Lasko |

 The EFMI Board and EFMI Council convened in combination with the STC2011 conference in Lasko/Slovenia. Several discussions about the future of EFMI and the field of medical informatics took place.
Following the new developments in content management and social media a task force was established for preparing the future of EFMI-Media. Rolf Engelbrecht will moderate this important "window to EFMI" and the EFMI network.
Elections took place for the term starting after MIE2011 in Oslo for secretary (Lacramioara Stoicu-Tividar), publication officer (György Súrjan), institutional members officer (Christian Lovis) and executive office (Stig Kjaer Andersen). Congratulations to the new and old members of the EFMI board.
