Good Evaluation Practice Seminar at STC2012 in Moscow |

GEP-HI, the Guidelines for Good Evaluation Practice in Health Informatics, is a methodology developed by the EFMI-WG EVAL. It is derived from many years of international experience in health information systems.
The seminar will start the EFMI special topic conference STC2012 on 18 April in Moscow (www.STC2012.eu). It will be continued by a workshop which will demonstrate the GEP-HI approach using a real health information system. A proposal for this workshop can be send to

GEP-HI has been published by the International Journal of Medical Informatics: Nykänen P, Brender J, Talmon J, de Keizer N, Rigby M, Beuscart-Zephir MC, Ammenwerth E. Guideline for good evaluation practice in health informatics (GEP-HI). Int J Med Inform 2011; 80: 815-827
The web-based Evaluation Inventory will be a part of the seminar. It was in 2010 completely updated and expanded. It now comprises around 1.500 abstracts of evaluation papers in health informatics and allows researchers from all over the world to submit papers for inclusions.
