"Monitoring of microbial markers in groundwater systems and different aspects of groundwater bioremediation"
The winterschool had the overall aim to train the fellows in microbial community analysis of groundwater systems and on different aspects of groundwater bioremediation.
The learning objectives of the school were:
- use of modern molecular biology techniques in the field of groundwater resources and biodegradation
- aspects of groundwater in situ remediation from site assessment to the actual remediation phase
The course was organized by Prof. Nico Boon ( LabMET/Ghent) and taking place in Ghent and Mol/ Belgium.
