Our interdisciplinary research group focuses
- on the development of a free programmable lab-on-a-chip system for single cell analysis
- radiation biophysics for health effects due to ionizing radiation
- novel biosensors based on semiconductors and organic conductive polymers
This interdisciplinary approach combines quantitative experimental data with mathematical modelling in order to identify and quantify important biological responses to ionizing radiation at different hierarchical levels from organisms to molecules.
