To Improve Human Health: German National Research Center for Environment and Health Introduces its Mission

BrochureThe GSF - National Research Center for Environment and Health has significantly strengthened its research focus in the area of environmental health. This strategic choice was made for two reasons: the huge global medical need and economic burden, and the unique research capability of the GSF to address such great challenges.

The GSF has published a 60-page booklet to introduce its mission to improve human health, and present the new strategy focus on environmental health research. The brochure portrays the 30 GSF Institutes and Departments and their areas of research. Translational research is one of the major priorities. is on. The GSF cooperates closely with clinical partners to foster transition of the latest biomedical research results into preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic measures. Collaboration is institutionalised in 'Clinical Cooperation Groups' whose research focus is also summarized briefly in the brochure.
