School Projects at the GSF

gsf-lab, the GSF "transparent laboratory" for school classes

Lab and students Right now a "transparent laboratory" is being set up for schoolchildren. From April 2004 they will be able to perform experiments on selected topics from the natural sciences to a great extent independently, although naturally under guidance. The students will thus discover how fascinating scientific phenomena can be. In addition, they will get to know the GSF as a research centre and will gain some understanding of how basic research functions and why it is important and necessary. Current GSF research projects relevant to the specific topics will be presented.
