1st Workshop SPP 1319

Location: Schloß Machern/Leipzig
The workshop is conceived for 22 applicants (plus coworkers). The workshop should provide the funded coworkers a scientific platform to present and discuss their projects/results in detail in frame of the topic of the priority program. The intensive scientific exchange of ideas on an interdisciplinary level is intended. The workshop should help younger coworkers to identify their own project in a broader interdisciplinary scientific community. in addition, the invitation of four expert speakers from Germany or near European countries within the field of the research program is planned. The experts from outside the SPP1319 will have a stimulating effect on the workshop and will help to identify novel concepts for interdisciplinary research at an early stage.
