Information on the processing of data for Electronic Applications

Thank you for your electronic application.

We would like to inform you that we collect, store and process applicant data for the purpose of the appointment process (cover letter, CV, scientific concept, publication list, certificates, etc.), in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be passed on to the persons involved in the appointment procedure.

By sending off your application, you are providing implied consent to the processing of data as laid out herein.

All parties involved in the process are subject to the rules of confidentiality and are obliged to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Update, Storage and Deletion

The data provided by you will be stored for up to 6 months after recruitment or rejection. During that time, access to your data will be strictly limited; afterwards your personal details and documents will be deleted. In case you want to withdraw your application, we will delete all data provided at your request.

By sending your application you declare and assure that all details provided are true.

You have the right to withdraw your given consent and to object to the full or partial processing of your data without giving any reasons (by mail or email).

If you object to the complete processing, all your data will be deleted and consequently your application will no longer be considered.

You have the right to withdraw your declaration of consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing with consent before its withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
