The work of the research group Mathematical Imaging and Data Analysis (MIDA) is focused on the development and investigation of new mathematical methods to obtain information from various types of data sets. The mathematical spectrum of the group includes Fourier and harmonic analysis, approximation theory and numerical analysis, integral transforms and inverse problems. Currently the focus of our research lies on image reconstruction for different modalities and approximation of function on data defined manifods.
