Science Slam

at the TUM Kick-off seminar 24-26th Oct. 2018

A science slam is a presentation given by groups of young researchers in an understandable and entertaining way. This presentation format encourages young researchers to explain their project in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. There were nine different groups consisting of about 10 PhD students of which one of their doctoral theses was presented in front of their colleague.

Group E, announced as second place winners, decided to pick Doctoral thesis of Itunu Essien titled; “Combination of drug therapies and radiation to reduce therapy resistance of Glioblastoma stem cells”, Direct Supervisor: Dr. Natasa Anastasov and  1st Advisor: Prof. M.J Atkinson
