Dr. Nataša Anastasov habilitated in the special field of Radiobiology

Dr. rer. nat. (TU München) Natasa Anastasov habilitated at the Medical Faculty of the Technical University of Munich in the field of Radiation Biology. Her professorial dissertation is entitled: „Modifying the tumour cell response to radiation therapy“.

At the Institute of Radiation Biology (ISB) Nataša Anastasov directs the working group Personalised Radiation Therapy. Her research is focused on modulation of tumour cell response to radiation by using different approaches including small molecules and non-coding RNAs as therapeutical modifiers. Furthermore she has long standing interest and expertise in the design of lentiviral vectors and their usage for shRNA and miRNA functional gene analysis including novel 3D Microtissue assays.
