Cooperation with KORA

Project participation:
KORA is interested in intensifying cooperation with both German and international partners. Subject to certain conditions, cooperation partners can introduce their own issues into KORA studies.

Use of KORA data:
To obtain permission to use KORA data under the terms of a project agreement, please use the digital tool KORA.PASST (Link to KORA.PASST).

Use of KORA biological specimen:
Permission must be obtained from the KORA Executive Board. Costs depend on the number of samples and the volume of material. In addition, the genotype data must be stored in the KORA database.
Samples must be applied for via the KORA.PASST system (Link to KORA.PASST).

Use of KORA tools and software:
Two programs for conducting computer-aided interviews in epidemiological studies have been developed within the context of KORA:

  • DAIMON is a program for developing questionnaires and conducting computer-aided interviews.
  • IDOM is used to gather data on medication based on the information provided by test subjects and the packaging they bring with them.

On request, both programs will be made available to publicly sponsored research projects.  If you are interested, please contact Dr. habil. Lars Schwettmann (IGM) via .
