Analyzing the impact of different statistical weighting methods for an index measuring regional deprivation in Germany (GIMD) and the measuring the association of regional deprivation and mortality.

Analyzing the predictive power of protein markers (MASP, CRP etc.) for the prediction of risk of type 2 diabetes and prediabetes (targeted proteomics approach).

Analyzing the impact of sex hormones (SHBG, Testosterone etc.) as risk factors for all-cause and cause-specific mortality with survival analysis methods (Cox regression).
