Research Collaborations and Training Opportunities

The UPenn Epigenetics Institute and epigenetics @HMGU are composed of leading researchers from varied scientific backgrounds, expert in numerous methodologies and approaches.  Through research collaborations PhD students and postdocs are encouraged to propose project ideas to carry out in a lab at the partner institute over a 4-6 week period.  These projects will enable the individuals involved to explore new scientific concepts or gain experience in novel technologies to enrich their research. In addition, through this programme, junior researchers will establish international collaborations and connections from an early stage in their scientific careers.  Interested trainees and faculty are required to initiate discussions with the proposed host lab prior to writing a short 2-page proposal describing their research idea. Participants will be selected by internal review.
