The summer of 2016 has seen the launch of the pilot Summer Internship Programme in Epigenetics, Cellular Plasticity and Stem Cells.  Nine institutes at Helmholtz Zentrum München, including 7 members of the epigenetics@ HMGU community participated in the international programme, each welcoming a summer internship student for an 8 week research project.  Encouraged to explore their projects in great depth, the internship students participated in lab meetings, retreats and seminars with their host labs across the summer. They also presented their data and discussed their research aims with researchers at HMGU in an afternoon of short-talks.
