Short CV

I studied Mathematical Physics at the Julius-Maximilians-University in Würzburg, with a year abroad at the Joseph Fourier University at Grenoble. After obtaining my M.Sc. in 2015, I started as a PhD student at the Institute of Computational Biology in 2016.

Current research

  • Parameter estimation for ordinary differential equation (ODE) models using optimization algorithms from Deep Learning
  • (Second order) Adjoint sensitivity analysis for models in computational biology
  • Working on large-scale cancer signaling pathway models as part of the CanPathPro project
