Quantitative Single Cell Dynamics

A quantitative description of single cell dynamics is pivotal for understanding cellular decision making.  We establish tools for the processing, analysis and modeling of single cell data. This allows us to study molecular dynamics beyond the population averages of traditional approaches and reveal cell-to-cell heterogeneities. In close collaboration with our experimental partners, we apply our tools to the analysis of single cell dynamics in microscopy images and the description of stem cell decisions.
