Messoud Efendiev invited as a Dean's Distinguished Visiting Professor

Messoud Efendiev was invited by the University of Toronto and the Fields Institute as a dean’s distinguished visiting professor during January 1 to June 30, 2018. This year’s program was about the topic Emerging Challenges in Mathematical Biology organized by the Fields Institute. He gave a course on Infinite dimensional dynamical systems and their applications in mathematical biology, was part in several other workshops in the field of mathematical biology, was leading panel discussions, and was scientifically active visiting universities in the US as well as writing two books and two joint papers. As thank you for the successful course, as well as for his exemplary activities in various workshops he was awarded an exceptional visitor certificate from the director of the Fields Institute.
