International lab 'Causal Cell Dynamics' was kicked off on april 29, 2021

Our recently granted Helmholtz International lab 'Causal Cell Dynamics', a joint endeavour of Helmholtz Munich, Mila (Québec, Canada) and MPI Tübingen was kicked off on april 29 in a virtual 2h workshop. The mission of the lab is the adaption of modern causal learning models to high-dimensional perturbation data as occurring in single-cell genomics and combine this with methods from computational biology to model gene regulatory interactions.

On the occasion of the kick-off meeting Fabian Theis (director of ICB and Helmholtz AI) and Yoshua Bengio (director of Mila) gave an interview
