IES Microscopy Core established

Source: Adam Burton

The IES Microscopy Core has been set up to provide support and technology development devoted to our research.

Highly proficient in epifluorescence, confocal, and live-cell microscopy, the Microscopy Core strives to implement technologies that will equip the institute with cutting-edge microscopy methods and establish protocols to enable researchers to investigate dynamic processes across spatial and temporal scales. Our first challenge is to establish protocols for STED super-resolution microscopy and for long-term live-cell imaging, which we believe will provide unprecedented access to the biological phenomena central to our research.
