Torres-Padilla lab joins the international 4DNucleome project from the NIH

Maria-Elena Torres-Padilla, and named grantee Adam Burton, have been awarded funds from the NIH Director Funds Programme ‘4DNucleome’. The new project is part of the Phase 2 of the 4DNucleome and aims at generating tools to image genome organisation in live, as well as to investigate the molecular mechanisms that control the way in which the genome folds at the beginning of development. In addition, the grant will also enable the investigators to ask whether this organisation has a role in developmental potency and reprogramming.
