Call for applications from the CPC Research School

The Munich International Autumn School (MIAS) offers training modules in different labs and clinics in Munich for a limited number of young clinicians and scientists with an MD or PhD background. Participants will hear outstanding lectures given by speakers of the faculty as well as international experts. Plus, they will meet scientists and clinicians from all over the world to share their experiences and ideas. For further information, please take a look at the flyer.

The CPC Research School, the graduate school at the Comprehensive Pneumology Center, announced the 7th Munich International Autumn School (MIAS), which will take place from November 11 to 15, 2019. The MIAS is a one-week training program for clinicians or scientists with an MD or PhD background, offering intensive modules in different labs and clinics in Munich. Participants have the possibility to attend lectures given by outstanding speakers of the faculty and experts in pneumology. It is also the great opportunity to network with scientists and clinicians from all over the world. The application deadline is 23rd Sep. 2019.

Program:

  • Experimental training modules, e.g. work with primary cells, cell culture, screening assays, flow cytometry and FACS, lung bio-engineering, 3D live cell and tissue imaging
  • Clinical visits: Hospital of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Asklepios Pulmonary Hospital Munich-Gauting, CPC Outpatient Unit
  • Outstanding lectures given by speakers of the faculty as well as international experts
  • Networking with world-leading experts
