Epigenetic Engineering

The research team of Dr. Stefan Stricker at the Stem cell Institute (ISF) of the Helmholtz Zentrum Munich, is looking for Ph.D. and M.Sc.  students as coworkers starting as soon as possible.

The project aims to change stem cell fates through cutting edge epigenetic engineering techniques. We offer excellent research facilities and top-class research networks, international collaborations, interdisciplinary scientific training, and a comprehensive complementary training program.

Your profile: We seek a highly motivated student who can address scientific problems in functional molecular epigenetics and stem cell research. We are seeking students with a Master's degree in biochemistry, molecular biology or closely related disciplines. Applicants should be highly interested in gene regulation and stem cell research. Candidates experienced with ChIP and/or other genome-wide assays and/or functional screens will be preferred.
