I am interested in all aspects of data management and the informatics required to support the storage, management, quality control and dissemination of the many forms of biological data currently used in the analysis of human common complex diseases, ranging from phenotypes and Electronic Health Records to multi-omic "Big Data".

I am also interested in the use and applicability of cutting edge techniques, such as machine learning, and their application to the storage and processing of biological data, to join up the wide variety of data types now available, and to provide insights into human complex diseases and thereby deliver better, more personalised, healthcare.
