Presentation of Prof. Linseisen at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine

Presentation at The National Academies of Sciences, Engeneering, Medicine (U.S.), Standing Committee on Evidence Synthesis, and Communications in Diet and Chronic Disease Relationships.

Prof. Linseisen gave a presentation on the topic „Identifying metabolic subgroups for targeting nutrition intervention“. He presented results from his group that evolved over the past years on the metabotype concept, i.e., the definition of metabollically homogenuous subgroups for population stratification. This concept can be applied in scientific research projects, and - most important - has the potential to guide targeted and effective measures to better prevent cardio-metabolic diseases.
