Translational Proteomics

Mission

In the group „Translational Proteomics“, we search for marker signatures of complex diseases in human (biobank-) material. This will not only help us to improve correct patient stratification but to improve understanding of disease pathophysiology.

Where we come from:

Coming from classical proteomic discovery approaches, we have established targeted measurements (SRM-MS) of candidates using heavy-isotope labeled relative or absolute quantification.
